Preciosa crystal beads Bicone in Amethyst Opal AB have a smooth thread hole and are multi-faceted to reflect the light, making them perfect to create bespoke designs. Preciosa Bicone Beads have a cylindrical shape and taper towards both ends to create a unique bi-conical shape. Amethyst Opal AB is a beautiful and distinct shade of purple, named after the gemstone of the same name. It is a rich, deep colour that is typically associated with royalty, luxury, and sophistication. Amethyst Opal AB is a shade of purple that contains a subtle blend of blue and red, giving it a slightly cooler tone than other shades of purple. Opal gives the colour a milky appearance due to the colouring in the glass being slightly opaque. The AB (Aurora Borealis) effect is an iridescent coating that covers the top of the crystal, making it shimmer like a rainbow. The base colour of the crystal can still be seen underneath but there is a noticeable pink and blue shine to it as it hits the light.
